In Triplicate

Daniela Pesendorfer picks up a cross-shape in three different ways. A special part of a picture changes by turn, reflection and rotation. Nature and architecture are mixed together into an ornamental pattern.

Panorama

Three or four photographies form a panoramic view. Overlaped parts of the houses are cut into strips. Put together one after enother the houses get wide.

About „Everything A4“: In the 1920ies - the international standard A4 has been intruduced. In this photographic art work Cesky Krumlov and Linz get connected. The photographies were realized at the "Atelier des Landes Oberösterreich" in Krumau in May 2011. Two pictures from Cesky Krumlov and Linz are put together. The strips let the cities melt into one another.

In this photographies Daniela Pesendorfer shows her interest on the exhibition room itselfe. Pictures of her studio get combined with a mirror foil so two different rooms mixed together can be seen. Works opposite the room as well as the beholders represent a connection in the works contens and optical illusion.

Mirror Views

With the help of amirror foil the original photography and the surroundings melt together to one picture. Photographies of the Kitzmantelfabrik get presented inside the buiding. A surreal combination of inside and outside views can be seen. The viewers get part of the work, and a change by movement and by light can be noticed.

Moments

Pictures taken during the exhibition of the temporary installation "The Real Space" give a special few on what's going on outside the Gallery IG Bildende Kunst in Vienna. From a special point taken, the new photography shows little differents between the photography in the installation an the real few outside.

Sauger

The vacuum cleaner acts as a link between move out and move in. Already needed in the new apartment, it is usually one of the last items to be taken with.Tapetenwechsel was on one singel Saturday, every month. It started in the late morning with a breakfast. Everyone interested was wellcome to get in contact with the artists.

And Still It Moves

Each photograph consists of two almost identical cutouts of the interior of the Franz-Josef-Warte. Two nearly identical Photographies are put together to one. The phographies show the inside of the Franz – Josef – Warte on the Freinberg in Linz. Walking upstairs always two pictures were taken. So a change on the window, the steps, the person and as well on the landscape can be recognized.The Photography moves apparently. The thin strips increase this effect.…

The Real Space - inside

The window as an interface between inside and outside. The few from outside:A photography of the empty Gallery of the IG Bildende Kunst in Vienna is cut in stripes. The second, forth, sixt,... stripe is missing. So the current few inside the Gallery gets mixed with the photography.

Cities In Motion

Each of the three photographies includes two nearly identic photos of a city-few (Irland, China, Austria).

City Combination

In the center of interest stands the creation of a surreal immage of a mixed city. What makes us recognize the city in which we live?What elements can be smuggled in, and what elements seem to be unkown?How does the photography of Vienna chanche the second city ort he new combined city?

Skyscraper

This artwork starts with a black and white photography of the Generali-building in Linz. The artist cuts the photography into strips along architectural lines of the building and puts the strips together with a littel distance to each other. The exact chosen distance between the strips makes vewers think that the empty parts are missing. This also lets the building rise higher and creates a skyscraper. Is a skyscraper still an eyecatcher in Linz?…
